Modern interior design surprises us more and more with new ideas every day. One of these is the use of polyurethane cornices for the ceiling. This material is quite durable and allows you to hide many imperfections on surfaces.

In addition, a properly designed transition from the ceiling to the wall can unusually transform and change the appearance of the room.

Everyone knows that lighting in a room plays the most important role in creating the overall atmosphere and mood; its arrangement should be treated with special attention. Therefore, designers have developed special polyurethane ceiling cornices to illuminate the room, which can incredibly transform the interior. This solution looks very impressive, allows you to visually enlarge the small space of the room and slightly “raise” the ceilings and can be a wonderful finishing touch in the most creative modern interiors. We will tell you in more detail about the aesthetic features and installation of this decorative element in our article.

Polyurethane cornice for LED strips

The modern market offers us a wide selection of fillets of this kind. Smooth panels are more appropriate for restrained styles that do not require curvy and pretentious shapes. On the contrary, a polyurethane ceiling cornice in an interior with a pronounced style will complement the overall picture with its relief images in the form of leaves, garlands, flowers, ornaments, abstractions or geometric patterns.

It’s also nice that installing a polyurethane cornice for LED strips is very simple. The whole process takes a maximum of half a day, and then most of the time is spent on drying the glue. To begin with, the cornice is attached to the wall, after which its inner surface must be covered with foil tape in order to avoid a fire in the event of a short circuit. Next, the pieces of LED strip are soldered at the joints and wrapped with electrical tape. Next, following the instructions, connect all the necessary wires, remove the film and glue the tape directly to the inside of the cornice. When turned on, the outgoing light will spread evenly throughout the room, and its source will not attract unnecessary attention.

Since the LED strip practically does not dissipate heat and favorably emphasizes the ceiling finish, a polyurethane cornice for LED strips can be safely used to illuminate a stretch ceiling.
