One of the criteria for choosing skirting boards is their color compatibility or, on the contrary, contrast with the floor, walls or interior items (furniture, doors). For example, if the walls and floor are light, then a dark baseboard will perfectly highlight the contours of the room. And a white baseboard for the floor will fit perfectly into an interior with white doors, trim, and furniture.
