Types of outdoor tiles for porches

To decorate the porch, you can use different types of tiles: clinker, ceramic, paving, granite and even rubber.

1. During production clinker tiles it is fired at a temperature of about 1300°C, so this material is extremely durable and frost-resistant, does not absorb water, and is able to withstand various aggressive environments: gasoline, acid, alkali, salt. Frost-resistant clinker tiles for porches also have an anti-slip effect: their rough surface is safe for walking.
2. The best anti-slip material for a porch is rubber tiles. It is an extremely dense rubberized material that completely eliminates slipping on the steps of the porch, making it absolutely safe.
3. Ceramic tiles – the most affordable type of cladding for external stairs. This material is moisture- and frost-resistant, durable, and non-flammable. The surface of outdoor ceramic tiles should be rough, then they will be easily cleared of snow and will not slip.
4. Porch, tiled granite tiles – this is solidity, beauty and practicality. The surface of such tiles undergoes additional processing to create an anti-slip effect. Granite porch tiles may have rough streaks, parallel cuts, or abrasive tape on them. Granite tiles are perfect for decorating a round or curved porch.
5. Paving slabs for porch – an excellent option for decorating the facade of a building. It is practical and not subject to weather changes, is not affected by fire or moisture, and does not absorb dirt and dust.
