Decorative plaster is a great way to decorate an unsightly wall, both external and internal. With the volume and relief, it will look completely different, bringing an interesting effect of the smooth course of the endless pattern, the game of light and shadows in the cavities and the grain of plaster to the interior or exterior.
Composition and features of decorative plaster “lamb”
Decorative plaster in “lambs” is a dry mixture of white cement of the highest quality, mineral fillers (quartz, marble, dolomite, etc.) and water -flipping components, which provide good resistance to all sorts of fungal formations like mold.
In acrylic compounds representing the finished mass of decorative plaster “lambs”, add an acrylic resin, as well as silicone dispersions. Additional components of the mixture are pigments and modifying additives.
Dry and ready -made mixtures of decorative plaster are designed for manually performing plasters on concrete, gypsum and plasterboard bases, as well as on mineral wool slabs and mineral lining plastering coatings.
Application of decorative plaster “lamb”
Before starting work on applying the plaster, the base for it should be carefully prepared: cleaned of pollution, oily liquids, oil paint and other exfoliating layers of the previous finish, as well as from loose areas.
It is also necessary to treat the walls with a primer penetration and primer paint, if the base is too ugly and does not provide good adhesion.
The solution prepared or already purchased by the finished solution is applied to the walls with a trowel or cell and leveled with a stainless grater. The thickness of the plaster layer will be equal to the diameter of the granules. The resulting surface is rough and uniform.
