Combination of colors and textures

In this photo, a combination of colors and textures is clearly visible: natural wood, snow-white stucco molding and coal-black lighting element

The owner of the apartment turned to the studio after she had a deja vu effect. She saw the interior of the neighbor’s apartment, and he turned out to be a mirror copy of her own: an identical layout, location and size of paintings on the walls and other similar elements.

Bedroom

The deep gray color of the bedroom reminds of the cold waters of the Atlantic. At the same time, the interior itself is very functional: at the feet of the bed there is a banquet where you can fold the bedspread or elements of clothing

The fact is that the developer of this housing complex of business class rents apartments already with finishing, furniture and equipment, so all decisions in this house are typical. To express the individuality of the owners – a married couple with a child, their desires, a picture of the world, emotions through the interior – such a task faced the team of Kvadrat Architects.

If initially the family was configured to the classic interior, then in the process of dialogue the vector was replaced by modern with elements of neoclassica. Ergonomics and the geometry of the apartment are completely in the spirit of time, but classic elements are easily read – the wishes of the owners.

The layout turned out to be successful, so the reorganization of the space was made rather softly. Part of the premises that interfere with the general concept were removed, and the technical cuisine, internal storage systems were organized.

The problem of the lack of interacting zones was solved by forming a circular movement in the space of the apartment.

The palette of light shades prevails both in the central zone, and in the bedroom and bathroom. In the interior, nature itself speaks in the guise of materials and textures and their combinations.

Openced panels in the central space on the walls, in the bedroom – as an element of visual zoning, in the office this solution is displayed in the details of storage structures, desktop.

Perhaps only the nursery is knocked out of the general conceptual series. The ten -year -old son of customers prefers niches and shelters for games, so for these purposes they put a bunk bed with a grid and tatami. And in the wall they created a convenient niche for reading.
