To give the molding the shine of a precious metal, the polyurethane surface is varnished and dried, then foil is carefully applied. The surface must still be sticky, otherwise nothing will work. Smooth the foil on the molding with a dry cloth. Based on your interior style, we either leave the surface perfectly smooth or artificially age it by rubbing it with sandpaper (or a stiff brush). When the molding is completely dry, it can be glued to any furniture with polyurethane glue.
