Types of interior partitions

This solution is suitable for those who want to save on repairs. Plasterboard partition is cheaper than analogues. It is not necessary to apply a layer of plaster on it, so saving is obtained not only on materials, but also at work.

The partition from gas blocks is placed in those places where they plan to fix the cabinet, hang a picture or make a doorway to the wall. It is a little more expensive than a wall of drywall, but cheaper than a brick partition.

It is optimal to use a gas block with a thickness of 100 mm. In this case, the partition will not take a lot of space and will be strong to hold the doorway or cabinet.

Unlike drywall, the gas block is first primed, plastered, and then put down in front of the final coating, such as paint or wallpaper.

The cost of the partition from the gas block is almost one and a half times higher than from drywall. Gypsum cardboard – 3350 rubles per sq. Meter. The partition from the gas block is 5150 rubles per sq. Meter.

Brick partitions

Some clients cautiously look at partitions from drywall and gas block. It seems to them that such walls are not strong enough, so the feeling of a certain protection in such a space disappears. In this case, the wall is made of brick. Such a partition is more expensive than all other analogues, but it makes sounds more effectively from neighboring rooms.

The brick wall in the same way as a gas block is plastered, applied, putty and only then painted or glued wallpaper.
