Types of platbands

And the possibility of lamination of platbands from PVC for various woods, allows them to be selected depending on the requests and design of the customer. An alternative option for PVC platbands – Polyurethane platbands. Since this material is quite plastic, the platbands of the most unusual forms and configurations are easily made from it, up to round. Polyurethane platbands, as well as PVC platbands, have increased resistance to external adverse conditions, are easy to operate.

The next parameter by which you can divide the platforms is the type of installation. In this regard, the platbands can be overhead – attached directly to the wall using nails without hats, and the so -called telescopic ones – fastening is carried out by entering the frame of special protrusions for platbands (wings). In shape, platbands can be flat, rounded or curly.
Metal platbands for windows
A few words should be said about the platbands made of metal. For their manufacture, as a rule, thin sheet metal is used (aluminum, less often galvanized). Metal platbands got their name – hills.
