Today there are many options for decorating windows. One of the most practical, neat and aesthetic decors is the curtains of pliss, which can be installed on both plastic and wooden windows. They perfectly shade the room from the sun, and also protect it from prying eyes.
A distinctive feature of the curtains of Pliss is their ability to install on the windows of any configuration, ranging from classic rectangular and ending with complex arched openings. In addition, this type of curtains can be installed on inclined openings, as well as directly to the window sash. Often, Plissa curtains are used on French, ceiling and attic windows.
Curtains or blinds of pliss, as they are sometimes called, consist of two or three anodized aluminum profiles. Between these tubes, a fabric is pulled, which is laid in small folds. When raising the folds up, the curtain acquires a very compact look and is practically not noticeable on the window sash. There are Plissa curtains in horizontal and vertical design.
The fabric of the curtains is impregnated with special compounds that make them resistant to pollution and burnout. There are curtains of pliss of completely transparent fabric. Translucent material can partially let sunlight into the room. And the light -permeable Black Out fabrics can create complete darkening in the room. There are special fabrics with metallized coatings, which tend to reflect the sun’s rays and thereby maintain coolness in the room.

How are the plyce curtains on plastic windows attached?
As practice shows, you can install plastic curtains on plastic windows in several ways. The simplest is the installation of curtains in the contour of the window glass. However, it should be remembered that such an installation is possible only if there are deep graduates on the windows (15 cm or more).
Most often, the second option for installing the plyce curtain is used – on the frame of the double -glazed window. This method leaves the windowsill free and makes it possible to use it.
There is another type of installation of curtains of pliss – into the window opening. At the same time, you should know that the distance from the wings of the window to the upper slopes should be more than 5-6 cm. If this condition is not observed, then the window cannot be opened. This installation option looks the most careful, since all the window elements will be closed by the curtain.
It is not difficult to take care of the curtains of Plissa. Moisture -proof blinds are enough to wipe with a damp cloth from time to time. Curtains with reflective can be washed at a temperature of not higher than 30 ° C. After washing, the curtain must be rinsed, and then folded several times and lay out so that excess water is from it. The moist curtain must be hung on the window and dried in folded form, periodically laying out the canvas. But the Curtain Plissa does not take out the hot iron at all.
