Traditionally, vegetables are planted on beds. But the appearance of ordinary beds on many is on the longing: I want something unusual, beautiful, and then boring monotonous earthen mounds … But the beds are also different! Yes, not every option is suitable in order to grow a large harvest – but not everyone needs huge vegetable reserves! So let’s see what beds there are, except for such – familiar (this is just my garden, on which the “food program” is performed). With the right approach, they will require the cost of time, effort and finance, mainly at the very first stage – when all this needs to be carefully planned, lay, decorate. Subsequently, taking care of such beds and maintaining them in order will be no more difficult, and maybe easier than the usual ones. Small ridges are very convenient for them, and you can place such beauty near the kitchen and next to the recreation area – so that the greens of the barbecue is always at hand. When creating it, it is important to correctly arrange plants so that it is comfortable in such conditions, because on different tiers of such a bed, soil moisture and illumination will be different. In order to take care of plants on them, you do not need to lean low, and this is a big plus. But there is a minus: the soil in high beds dries faster than in ordinary ones, so you need to water them more often. In a hot, dry climate, this is not the most successful option for garden arrangement. But in low areas where water often stagnates, and the soil does not differ in fertility, high beds can become a real salvation. The so -called warm beds are most often made high. This is not just a box with soil poured into it – this is a rather complicated system, a kind of “layered pie”, the “filling” of which serves plants with a source of nutrition and heat. Warm beds are built on the surface of the soil, without deepening into it, or with deepening. In the first case, sometimes the turf is not even removed, laying the layers of the future bed directly on the unprocessed soil. In the second – a small pit is dug in the size of the beds and the first layers of the “fuel” are already laid in it. But it is advisable to cook it in the fall, covering it for the winter of mulch from straw or non -woven material. A warm bed can be done not only in the form of a box, but also in the form of a hill – in this case, vegetables are planted in rows along the entire surface of the bed. On the prepared site is a circle, the diameter of which corresponds to the size of the film sleeve. The center is installed in the center with a height of up to 180-200 cm (depending on which culture is supposed to be grown). Low pegs-ships are installed throughout the circle, on which the lower part of the film is pulled. Then the resulting bed is filled with organic raw materials and soil.
