Piece oak parquet has always been a decoration of castles and palaces, and today it easily fits into any interior. The most ardent fans are adherents of the classic style. This parquet has a sophisticated look and creates a unique atmosphere in the house.

  • it is thick, consists entirely of wood and can be restored more than once;
  • has many styling patterns, for example – herringbone, wicker, square, etc.;
  • environmentally friendly material;
  • has high thermal insulation properties;
  • high level of sound insulation, it is tightly attached to the screed and, unlike oak parquet boards, does not creak when walking on it;
  • high level of mechanical strength;
  • does not slip when walking;
  • has a beautiful texture and pleasant color.

In addition, solid oak block parquet has several variations and has a significant level of rigidity. Over the years, it practically does not deform and the humidity level does not change. Beautiful, regardless of color – white, stained, light classic.

Artistic parquet is considered the most elite; it can cover the entire room or perform individual elements. It also differs in the nature of the design – a symmetrical geometric pattern or a non-standard ornament laid out in the form of flowers or mysterious images. This oak parquet is massive and majestic.

Despite all the advantages of block parquet, there are some disadvantages:

  • laying parquet is difficult, there are few real specialists;
  • it takes a lot of time to install;
  • after installation, additional processing is required – grinding, varnishing;
  • the highest cost of all floor coverings;
  • high consumption of valuable wood when creating the floor.

If for some reason you decide not to purchase piece parquet, modern industry offers its substitutes in the form of parquet boards or laminate. The difference between block parquet and solid oak parquet boards is in size. If the parquet is up to 50 cm, then the length of the board reaches two meters.
