Secondly, recessed luminaires are classified according to the type of light bulbs they contain. They are:

  • incandescent;
  • LED

The most reliable and durable, as well as compact and economical LED lamps built into the ceiling. Such models practically do not heat up, which contributes to their widespread use. For example, this type of light can be installed in a closet. Their main disadvantages are that they are more expensive than regular ones and have a bluish tint to the light they receive, which not everyone likes. In order to make such lighting warmer, it is worth using a matte coating of the lamp. It’s worth choosing a recessed white lamp with LED lighting, because it gives the light an accent and amazing softness and warmth.

Fluorescent lamp recessed into the ceiling

It is worth mentioning separately the model that uses a fluorescent lamp, the so-called fluorescent lamp. They are mainly installed in offices, but now there is a tendency to install similar devices at home, because such lamps are very useful for the eyes.

The advantages of these products are obvious: they are economical, durable, have high luminous efficiency and a stable luminous flux, which is very beneficial for human health. In addition, with the help of this lamp you can create different lighting, depending on the selected lamp: warm, daylight, natural, white. Such devices are ideal for clearly conveying contrasts and colors. They are mainly used to illuminate any important work areas or to decorate a room.

The main disadvantages of such lamps are that they are sensitive to voltage changes and are quite expensive.
