For decoration of both interior and exterior spaces, glass fencing is used, among others. First of all, they are relevant when decorating balustrades, terraces, balconies, and stairs.

Glass stair railings

Stairs can have glass railings of several types. First of all, these are classic rack-mounted glass fencing: the risers are made of wood or metal, and the filling is glass. Another type of glass stair railings is with hidden fastening. In it, the glass is attached to the end of the staircase, and its fastening is decorated with special overlays: the impression of a weightless structure is created. The advantage of a staircase or terrace railing made from point-fixed glass is that it does not reduce the space of the staircase, and it is much easier to maintain.

Balcony railings made of glass

Glass railings for balconies, as well as for stairs, are most often made of tempered glass, the so-called triplex: three layers of glass bonded with a special elastic film. Therefore, such glass is much stronger and safer to use. Glass sheet for fencing can be matte, transparent, tinted or decorated with a sandblasted pattern.

Glass shower enclosures

Glass railings are also used in bathrooms for showers. Made of tempered glass, they look weightless and fragile, visually expanding the space. Such glass fences can have a wide variety of shapes and sizes, emphasizing the original design of the bathroom interior. For such shaped fences, curved tempered frosted or transparent glass is used. Thanks to this, using the shower stall is completely safe.
