The selection of materials begins even before the creation of the first visualizations of the interior. The technical task helps to determine the materials. In order for the materials to approach each other as much as possible, the designer makes a mudboard. This is a collage from different materials that are combined with each other. For this, the designer takes, for example, a piece of parquet board and goes to the store with him. There he applies him to samples of porcelain, skirting boards, wallpaper and paints. MDF and soft panels, decorative plaster, doors, porcelain tiles and wallpaper are also combined between themselves.

In the paint for walls, you need to choose color, shade, as well as dull paint. To do this, the designer arrives in the apartment and makes paintings on the walls with different paint. There they look with the customer in natural light how the walls will look. This is done because the color depends very much on the degree of light. For example, in the store, the paint under straight light looks bright and saturated, but in natural light it loses all the brightness. The designer also selects a shade of paint for the lighting that will be in the apartment. Because it can be warm, or cold from this, the paint will look different.

When all the materials are selected, a specification with finishing materials appears in the design project. They indicate the article of the material in which room they will use it, as well as its example on the store’s website. After that, the designer agrees with you, and the specification goes to the compliance. The specialist will order the material in the store, pay for it and deliver it to the object as necessary.
