Wooden furniture was and remains a classic accompanying us everywhere. Both in the apartment and in the country, an armchair of a wood array, also made by yourself, will become a decoration of the interior and a convenient place to relax with a cup of tea and an interesting book.

In our master class, we will show how from improvised materials that we usually neglect, you can make a wood chair with our own hands. We are talking about wooden pallets, which often come across to us in different situations, but which we consider garbage. However, recently, furniture made of pallets has become incredibly popular.

So, we need two square pallets. Or, if the pallet is rectangular, you need to cut it into two equal parts. One of them will be a seat, the other with a back.

We connect the back and seat and fix them with the boards on two sides, which are simultaneously our future rear legs from the chair. These boards should be long enough to cover the length of the back and still raise the seat to a certain height.

The next stage in the manufacture of a wood sector with your own hands is the construction of armrests and front legs. First, we beat two boards with nails – the front legs. They must protrude at the sitting at the height that you want to see future armrests.

We beat the armrests to them and to the back. You can make them even, but if desired, you can make them figured. To do this, use a pattern and a jigsaw. In our case, we leave them straight.

To protect the wood from the external influence of moisture, we open it with varnish. You can paint it, decorate it in any way.
