Any of the rooms where there is a window is easily filled with a special atmosphere of comfort if its windows are decorated with correctly selected curtains.
What curtains to choose in the room?
First of all, the functional purpose of the room should be taken into account. For example, curtains in a children’s room for a girl, in addition to classic white color, can be chosen in delicate pink-cream gamut (monophonic or with a thematic pattern corresponding to the age of the child).

The curtains in the children’s room for the boy should also be light (plain, with a pattern, for example, on sea themes, in the form of cars or cartoon heroes) and passing the air well. But in both cases, it is better to choose curtains from considerable fabrics (organza).

You can choose curtains from a plain organza into the teenager’s room, with a pattern (for example, in a cage), with metallized threads. If in a teenager’s room the window sill is used as a workplace, then short curtains are not the best option.

The same curtains are suitable for small rooms where every free centimeter is used (for example, a windowsill as a seat for sitting). In addition, in small rooms, the curtains of a simple cut look better – they do not “eat” space.

Without a doubt, the illumination of a particular room should be taken into account. Therefore, the curtains are chosen in the dark room with white or very bright pastel shades without large drawings, thick draperies and very hanging lambrequins.

In the bright room, on the contrary, you can choose the curtains of more saturated shades that harmonize with the total color scheme of the room, densely draped and decorated. The white room will harmoniously fit both white curtains (color emphasis should be placed on other interior details), and more saturated colors, acting as a color spot.

Curtains that do not limit free access to the balcony door are suitable in the room with a balcony. In this regard, threaded curtains are very practical. In addition, such curtains, if necessary, can easily and effectively zone the room.
