The name Bidermaire style appeared very strange and unexpectedly. Initially, in 1848, the famous German poet J. von Sheffel published one poem “Evening Cozy Crazy of Bidermann”, and then another – “Gething of idle mayer”. Two years later, a certain German poet L. Aichrod, wondering about creating a pseudonym, he took the noun “Biedermann” (which is translated – a decent, straightforward person) and the surname “Maier”, and made them into one word. Under the pseudonym “Bidermaier”, he began to write and publish simple, giving in some way naive poems.
