Hyposcarton sheets (GKL) not so long ago became popular during construction work. But they already managed to “pass the test of time” and become an indispensable material for repair or redevelopment. Installation of drywall partitions
To install partitions from GKL, it is first that you need to make a marking on which the profile will be mounted. Through the guide profile, tightly pressed to the surface, holes with a diameter of 6 mm at a distance of 30 cm from each other are drilled with a drill. They drives the dowel. The profile is screwed to the surface using self -tapping screws. Then the main profiles (racks) are cut, the length of which should correspond to the height of the partition. They are attached into guide profiles to a characteristic click every 40 cm. The same profiles are installed and vertically. The partition made of drywall with the door differs from the continuous partition by the presence of a transverse crossbar at the installation site.

After fastening all profiles, small screws, drywall sheets on one side of the structure are screwed. In this case, the distance between the screws should not exceed 25 mm. The soundproofing of drywall partitions is achieved using the distribution between mineral wool profiles, which acts as a sound insulator. They also lay the necessary communications. After that, the second side of the structure is also lined with drywall. From this moment you can start finishing.
