Advantages of the floor covering PVC
Floor polyvinyl chloride coating is made in the form of tiles of a soft relief texture. Today, such material is becoming more and more popular thanks to the following advantages:
- The floor covering of PVC has excellent heat and sound insulation thanks to a foamed vinyl, which is the main component of this material;
- PVC tiles can withstand various loads, it is wear -resistant and impact;
- Vinyl coating can be used in wet rooms, moreover, it is not slippery;
- The material is difficult to flammable, easy to care and inexpensive;
- The modular floor covering of PVC, consisting of plates of different sizes, can be used both in a residential building and in any commercial or industrial premises.
- If necessary, for example, during a move or repair work, PVC slabs can be dismantled and laid in another place without prejudice to their quality.
The design of floor PVC plates can be very different. This is an imitation of wood, natural stone or ceramics. You can find the floor covering of PVC, which has the appearance of a lawn with grass, or pebbles on the beach.
By type of laying, PVC tiles are divided into three types. Castle tiles are mounted in the same way as laminate, connecting with each other using a locking connection. The adhesive coating requires gluing to the floor. Self -adhesive PVC tiles is the most modern type of flooring.
In order to lay out the floor covering of PVC, it is necessary to align the base, and remove the garbage from it. In addition, the floor should be well dried, since moisture, which will remain under the tile, can subsequently destroy the coating.
