The arrangement of the attic, especially in a ready -made house, is associated with a complete alteration of the roof, because in order to turn the attic into a cozy living room, it is necessary to raise it to the desired height, insulate and provide good lighting. Consider the main options for the roof of the attic type.
Single -toe attic roof
Roofs of attic houses have several basic varieties: single -sloping, gable, semi -car and holm. A single -sized roof is usually arranged in houses where the project provides for the presence of an attic floor, since in a finished building it is quite difficult to calculate the correct slope of the only ramp. However, such a roof allows you to equip a very convenient and functional floor, since the only slope will not eat the height of the room. But it is known that the useful area of the attic floor begins when the ceilings have a height of 1.5 meters. A single -sized roof also allows you to equip more simple and cheap windows in vertical walls, since on the one hand there will always be a fairly high wall, near which you can successfully arrange high vertical elements of the interior: cabinets, hangers, shelves. The most responsible task when designing a single -to -shuttle roof is the calculation of the correct angle of its inclination, since it must successfully withstand the effects of gusts of wind, and the snow should not linger on the roof. The optimal angle of inclination is considered 45 °, but the larger the angle, the more light, and therefore expensive materials should be used to arrange the roof.

Gable roof
The gable roof is a well -known and familiar to us all option. Its disadvantage is that the inner room of the attic is quite small with large changes in height from corners to the center. The pediment of such a roof has the shape of a triangle. The advantages of such a design can be considered reliability, simplicity of arrangement, strength and availability of all building materials for construction. To expand the living space of the attic floor, the option of building a browned gable rack of the attic type is used. In it, each slope does not consist of a single surface, but of two planes. The upper parts are closed with each other at an angle of 30 °, and the lower ones have a slope relative to the upper part of 60 °. Such a design not only allows you to get a fairly spacious upper floor, but also protect the roof from the accumulation of snow in the winter.

Half -off roof
The arrangement of such a roof is quite laborious, requires the use of special equipment, materials, as well as the production of accurate calculations of the load on the walls. Such a roof is similar to a gable, but instead of vertical planes in the pediments, it has two more small slopes. Such roofs allow you to equip spacious and convenient internal floors, consisting of even several rooms, but the difficulties are not only in observing the construction technology, but also in how the windows will be located. Since such a roof does not have vertical surfaces, you have to cut the windows in inclined slopes, which requires a special design and a special, more durable glass.

Hot roof
It is also called the T-shaped roof of the attic type. A similar design is a four -sided roof with additional fractures and the removal of special, decorative or functional pedimental zones. The hip roof is often the only possible constructive option for houses with an extensive area or various unusual forms of wall structures. Such a roof requires accurate calculations and the use of special materials both for coating and for internal arrangement. Windows and materials from which they will be made also require special attention. The complex geometry of such a roof can create problems with cleaning it from snow in the winter, so it is better to immediately consider measures to resolve this issue.
