Today, when erecting houses, structures such as aluminum windows were increasingly using. They are used by builders and designers in glazing both in private construction and in the construction of various public and industrial buildings and structures.

Advantages of aluminum windows

The popularity of aluminum windows lies in their long life – more than 80 years. In this case, if necessary, you can replace the components without repairing the entire window.

Aluminum structures are able to withstand sharp temperature fluctuations, they are not subject to corrosion and acid precipitation, and do not burn out in the sun. In addition, they are not afraid of fire and practically do not support combustion.

In the production of window profiles, not only pure aluminum is used, but also various additives, in particular silicon and magnesium. Thanks to this, aluminum window constructions have great strength and reliability. They are resistant to both mechanical and chemical influences.

Aluminum windows are completely safe for use, as they do not distinguish any harmful substances. In addition, such windows can be represented in various color schemes, so choosing the necessary shade suitable for your interior will not be difficult. And if necessary, such windows can be painted in the desired color.

Due to the lightness of the aluminum design of the window, it can be easily installed even alone. Caring for such a window is completely not complicated, and the cost of the structure is much lower compared to wooden or even plastic windows.

Aluminum windows are harmoniously combined with other materials, for example, with wooden panels. Therefore, such aluminum windows will look appropriate in any room. In addition, aluminum profiles can be used to create arched and more complex forms of window structures.

Types of aluminum windows

For the manufacture of aluminum window structures, so -called warm and cold profiles are used. A characteristic feature of a warm profile is the presence of a thermal jacket in it, that is, a special polyamide-glass-accommodation insert that provides thermal insulation of the entire structure. Thanks to this, such warm aluminum windows do not freeze in winter. Therefore, warm profiles are used in the manufacture of aluminum windows for rooms that will be heated.

Cold profiles do not have such a heat flag, so they are used to glaze non -residential premises, for example, gas stations, shopping centers, stations, etc.

There are two types of aluminum windows:

  • Deaf without the possibility of opening;
  • Openingwhich, in turn, are divided into folding, opening from above, rotary with the possibility of opening the window only in one direction, rotary-oxidal, capable of opening in different directions.

Most often, aluminum windows are installed on balconies and loggias. Due to the limited space, it is convenient to use sliding window structures in these rooms, which will save free space. It is very easy to use such windows: they move along special rails according to the type of wardrobe.

Used on loggias and balconies and inclined window structures. They can open for ventilation by about 15 cm or move to the side along the rails.

Often, aluminum windows are used for stained glazing of both private and public buildings. The use of standard double-glazed windows in aluminum structures or sandwich panels allows you to install such glazing in winter gardens and greenhouses.
