In addition to polyvinyl chloride linoleum, better known as PVC, there is also natural linoleum. It is made from wood flour. In addition, it contains pine resin and limestone powder. The basis for applying all these materials is jute fabric. This coating costs an order of magnitude more than PVC linoleum, but due to the superiority of its characteristics and quality, this factor is completely justified. In addition, the natural appearance of linoleum has a large number of colors and patterns created using natural dyes. Their PVC floor covering may not be visually different from natural flooring, but over time the difference becomes clearly noticeable. In addition to a faster loss of color brightness, PVC is very sensitive to temperature changes, resulting in swelling and cracking.<\/p>\n<h3>How to choose the right type of linoleum for the kitchen?<\/h3>\n<p>Many people may not know, but in order to make the right choice when buying linoleum, you should know several basic criteria:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>purpose and type of premises;<\/li>\n<li>room permeability;<\/li>\n<li>harmony in the interior.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In order for the choice to be made correctly, it would be nice for the buyer to understand the labeling of types of linoleum. Number 1 means the lightest load, number 4 means the heaviest, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>That is, the type of linoleum marked 23 and 24 is well suited as a floor covering for the kitchen and corridor. For rooms, you can safely choose material marked 21.<\/p>\n<p>When choosing linoleum for the kitchen, in addition to marking a certain type, also pay attention to the top covering. There are types with a top coating ball in the form of a special film, which helps preserve both the color and the material itself for a longer time.
