Gerard is the first international restaurant in the format of neo -bust in Novosibirsk. He was opened by restaurateur Denis Ivanov and the world celebrity Gerard Depardieu. The restaurant is located in the very center of the city in a two -story wooden house of 1905, an architectural monument. The interiors of the establishment created the architectural bureau of Pergaev Bureau.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the architects was to form a space in the style of classic French establishments, but with their unique charm and references to the work of one of the most famous actors in the world of Gerard Depardieu. So, a spacious restaurant into 90 guests was divided into three halls: large, small and VIP, each of which has its own bright atmosphere and history.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe project turned out to be really innovative and breakthrough in everything that refers to its concept. It was interesting to work on him in real time: ideas were literally materialized from the air, which was saturated with live interest, dreams, fantasies about the future institution. The interior rethinks the aesthetics of traditional French establishments, each of its details adds warmth and creates a cozy atmosphere for visitors. The variety of shades and textures in each of the halls forms a special language language that is reflected in both the cultural code of Russia and France. \u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

A wardrobe was located in the restaurant entrance area, and the front door was separated by gray curtains<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The interior of the first (small) hall is made in the style of classic Parisian bistro. It is dominated by wooden textures and a rich warm nut color. To get into it, guests must go through the input area, which is formed by two cabinets. One of them is designed to store outerwear, and the second with elements of glazed through rack – not only takes the small hall for the guest, but also contains signs of the main character of the place – Monsieur Gerard. <\/p>\n

The style of the small hall is also interconnected with the facades of the building. This is especially emphasized by the painting \u201cHouse with platbands from Novosibirsk\u201d by the author of Moscow chief architect Sergei Kuznetsov.<\/p>\n

The space of the Small Hall is decorated with a ceiling made of gypsum outlets and massive mirrors, and the lower halves of the walls around the perimeter are finished with panels from a mass of wood. All these elements are inherent in the interiors of classic French bistro. Even the curtains on the windows emphasize this fleur. <\/p>\n

Textiles in the second hall reminds us of the clothing of Obelix – the charming hero Gerard Depardieu<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The second hall became a reference to the film “Asterix and Obelix.” Its main decoration is an open modern kitchen. The minimalist finish focuses on the wall, which has become a post-stroke art object, turning into metaphorical white-blue striped trousers of Obelix. Under the trousers there is a stained -glass window that encourages the bar area – in the banquet format, part of the windows may open in order to be given the drinks directly to the guests. This element reminds of the streets of Paris with decorated flowers of windows.<\/p>\n

The interior sets up a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere: chandeliers with a rotary mechanism allow you to choose various lighting scenarios, and the kitchen area is highlighted using a massive stained glass of corrugated glass in the style of modernity. A whole open kitchen block is a unique phenomenon for Novosibirsk, a real technological breakthrough that completely opens the process of preparing unusual dishes.<\/p>\n
