Customers turned to the capital’s designer Daria Startseva – a young couple with two heterogeneous children of adolescence. Having talked with them, Daria realized that she had to create an interior in a modern style with elements of East Asian culture.<\/p>\n

Customers asked to create a laconic interior, without unnecessary details and decorations. They talked about the fact that they prefer minimalistic forms, and do not carry marble, brass and other \u201crich\u201d elements in their space.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the owner of the apartment was afraid to see concrete walls with a single computer table in the middle, she liked more comfortable interiors.<\/p>\n

As a result, the general idea and the whole concept were agreed on the first time with only minor corrections, clarifications and details.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the process of communicating with the customer, I realized that he was close to the work of Viktor Pelevin, and the repeated mention of the fact that the interior should be minimalistic, prompted me to think about Japan.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

\u201cTrying to unite these preferences of the customer, I remembered the novel\u201c Secret Vyts of Mount Fuji \u201d, and as visual and coloristic inspiration used the Katsusiki Hokusai engravings from the 36 species of Fuji. So the project was called “Mount Fuji.”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Customers bought an apartment in the White Box decoration, so when developing a planning decision, Daria Startseva had to start from the existing geometry of the premises. But in the process of implementation, the clients and the designer realized that the quality of the decoration from the developer is completely unsuitable for the level of customer requirements, so they completely removed the finish and built everything from scratch.<\/p>\n

\u201cA separate story is associated with tiles on the apron, already in the process of implementation, when the tile was brought to the facility, it turned out that the manufacturer\u2019s catalog indicated the wrong size and the real need for about 1.5 times larger. I had to urgently think over a new layout and succeed in the lack of material. It was lucky that the supplier had a certain amount of tiles in stock and a new batch did not have to wait a few more months, as it was with the initial order. \u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

The customers were not ready to move to the half -ready interior, so they waited for the moment when the last skirting board was already glued and only after that they moved to the apartment. <\/p>\n

The development of the project took about two and a half months from Daria Startseva, and the repair was about a year. Customers thought that they could save by choosing the White Box finish, but then it turned out that it was she who caused the additional cost of dismantling.<\/p>\n
